It was a very excited Saturday for William this past weekend. He lost his first tooth and he couldn't have been more excited. He's been waiting for this moment for about a year now, and he really wanted to be the 3rd kid on the poster of kids who have lost a tooth at school.
Saturday night he went to Luke Hanaike's birthday party and all of the kids were showing off their loose and already lost teeth. After the party William went over to Andrew's house and Jade said she could pull it for him. She put some dental floss around it and tied a knot and yanked it right out. He said it didn't even hurt. Good thing he had his best friend Andrew with him to hold his hand!

Here is William's tooth and the $5.00 that the tooth fairy brought him. (He wrote a letter to the tooth fairy asking if he could keep his tooth, since it was the first one, but to still please leave the money).

dude, you're pretty lucky...5 bucks. I only got a quarter. When my dad pulled out my first tooth, he used a huge pair of plyers...it was pretty scary.

that is totally gross. what are you going to do with the tooth. Maybe you could make a glass display case for it and use it as a centerpiece for your kitchen table.
And the tooth fairy must have felt REALLY generous when she flew into Napa. I think that when she flies back to SB for Charlie, she'll be feeling much more frugal.

william i am finally commenting on your lost tooth. it sounded like you were very brave as jade ripped your tooth from your mouth, way to go. i was so happy i got to see your holy smile in person, it looks awesome! the second was pretty wiggly, it shouldn't be far behind.
