Thank you Rara (aka Sara)

Maddie, Jackson and I have to give a really big thank you to Sara for taking Maddie last week from Tuesday until Friday! Maddie had the best time at Sara's with Jacob and Parker. Everytime I would call to talk to her, she would say that she was a Rara's house and then she was done talking to me. Really, she could have cared less if I called because she was having so much fun! She even told me that she wanted to go back on Saturday morning. We all know who she loves more. That's okay because I love Sara too, and I would want to go to her house too if I was Maddie.
It was also 3 days of heaven for Jackson and I. I was able to clean my house and it stayed clean. I could put Jackson down somewhere other than his crib and walk away without having to worry about him and I could take a nap with Jackson whenever I wanted. Oh, and did I mention that it was quiet in the house.

I really noticed how nice it was not to have a toddler around on Saturday morning when Maddie came walking out of my bedroom carrying Jackson. I had left him on my bed asleep and I guess she decided that he needed to come out of there. I just about passed out when I saw her carrying him. Friday after she came back, Jacob and Maddie were taking a bath and Sara and I were in the other room talking when we decided we'd better go check on them, and there they were with bubbles EVERYWHERE! They decided they needed to have a bubble bath and so they dumped the entire bottle of shampoo into the bathtub. Oh, and have I mentioned that my house has been a wreck since she came back!?! Don't get me wrong. We love Maddie to death, but it was really nice having her somewhere else for a few days too.

So Sara...THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I hope you know how much I enjoyed and appreciated my few days of peace and quiet. You are a true friend and we love you dearly!
