With all of the attention on Jackson, Maddie and William have been feeling a little left out in the blogging department, so I told them I would do a blog with just them and what they've been up to lately. Maddie is now into wearing her sunglasses (upside down, of course) everywhere. She is quite the diva.
She is also working on getting potty trained and she loves to have the support of her big brother when she goes. I know, I know. It's weird. But, whatever it takes to get her to go.
William just did a big project for his 100 days of school. We made a map of the United States out of rice crispies and labeled the 50 states and the 50 capitals which adds up to 100. William did a great job of putting all of the flags and the skittles in place on the map. Merrill did a great job of cutting out the US and outlining all of the states with chocolate, I made the 4 batches of rice crispy treats to make the map, made all of the flags and made the board to put it on and Grandpa Temple did a great job of coming up with crazy idea of making the map 2 weeks after I had a baby. Thanks, grandpa!
William went to a Star Wars birthday party last weekend and the little boy's mom made Jedi costumes for all of the kids and made them all light sabors. Pretty impressive. William has been practising becoming a Jedi ever since.
