30 Day Notice

Well, unfortuately, this could be us in a month. We just found out that we are getting kicked out of our house in 30 days because our landlord is moving back in here. I have to be honest, I never thought I would get a notice that we had to move out of a house. Not fun at all!

Everyone (including me) keep telling me that this must be happening for a reason and that the Lord has something in mind for us. I just wish I knew what the big plan was so I could be excited about packing up a house with 3 kids, including a 2 year old tornado and a 4 month old. Oh, and did I mention that it's happening right at the end of the school year?

We had a lesson in Sunday School (the first one I've gotten to go to in about 9 months) this week about being humbled and I was thinking to myself how well our life has been lately ~ how blessed we've been meeting great new friends in Napa and that Merrill's job is going well. Sunday School taught me two things. One, stay in Primary and two, watch out because the Lord is always listening to your thoughts and ready to humble you at anytime.

I know we will find something. But, we could really use some prayers to help the process along.

Lisa,

I feel for you..not that we have 30days to find a new place to live, but at the end of June Sterling will be layed off from his job after 14 years. Not something we look forward too.
I think we all get to comfortable in our lives and we think nothing will happen. We thought we had till October, but no....when you know something will happen and having it actually happen is scary to think about.
I am confident that the Lord has plans for everyone, maybe we don't like how he presents them to us, but he will bless us if we do what is right.
Too bad Chelsea isn't around to help you out...please let us know if at anytime we can do anything for you. I wish we lived closer.
Have a good day...I love the picture you have with your blog.

Lisa,

You were in that Sunday School class to prepare you for this news. You were blessed to have had that reminder that trials come to teach us many things and we are so fortunate to know that there is a Plan and we have a loving Father to help us through these times. You're not the first and this will not be your last trial so keep praying to know what to do,because Dad and I are praying for you and your little family and things will work out for the best.
You are also blessed that Matt and Sheri are coming to help you move and those 2 sweethearts will be a terrific help and keep you laughing. How blessed you are that they already had their tickets and there was no question that they would come to help their baby sister.
Remember what Josie and Justin went through for a long time with no job..Merrill is doing great with his job and all your children are well and happy so I know you will put a happy post up really soon and tell everyone that you have a home and are all moved in and are very blessed.
Love and prayers,
Mom

Well what kind of friends would we be if we let you end up like the picture? Kaia has a full size bed and blake has a twin...of course we aren't offering our queen....but the others are surely up for grabs! Love that you guys are so determined to stay in our ward! Yippee! I would just die if Maddie wasn't in my nursery. I absolutely adore her (probably cuz I only have her for 2 hours a week!) but we really do just love your family! Keep your chin up, our thoughts and prayers are with you guys.

Love the Kennedy Family

Lisa you could move into trailer....Sewer and water is already paid for.
I wish our old house was in Napa for you to live in. This poor house will be empty come June 29th if we don't get it rented.
I love the picture you put with your blog.
If I could I would be there to help you move.
We are praying for you and Merrill. Just wait this will turn out to be a blessing. We love you. Aunt Colleen
