Christmas and the Wii 2008

So, even though we didn't get to go to St. Louis and spend Christmas with our family, we still had an awesome Christmas with the Turners and our new Wii! Ashley got to come home for a few days and Maddie was in 7th Heaven to have her bestest friend back. Here are some pictures from a very fun Christmas day!
The Turners and Us

Cindy brought crackers for everyone and here we all are with our paper crowns from the crackers. The kids loved them. Maddie loved it so much, she refused to be in the picture.
Al, Ashley, and Cindy enjoying some prime rib and Yorkshire pudding for the first time and they liked it (well not Ashley, but we knew that going in)
Jackers with his cracker. He really loved the prime rib and Yorkshire. I have pictures of him eating it on my phone that I need to download still.
It took a little while, but Jackson finally remembered Ashley
Maddie, Ashley and Maddie's new Dora doll that the Turner's got Maddie. She loves it! She even wanted to take her to the movies with us.
Now to the best part of the day...The Wii! The adults had more fun than the kids, I think. Cindy was the best to watch. I have never laughed so hard!
Proof that we did let William play. He was really good.
Jackson wishing he could play
Merrill pretending to throw the controller at the tv (it was only a plastic egg) and me freaking out in the background.
Ashley with her signature bowling move...Focus, focus
Merrill and I having fun boxing. I kicked his butt by the way.

Cindy and Al duking it out. Cindy was working up quite the sweat.

Ashley trying to take Merrill down. It didn't quite work. But, look at her try!

It really was a great Christmas day. Thanks Turners for spending it with us.

I particularly loved Merrill throwing the controller. The pictures of the kids with that CUTE Ashley were fun too!

I have heard that the Wii is great, but we have never experienced it. You guys make it look way fun. Maybe when my kids get tired of the Playstations we wil have to try it out.
