So, I finally finished the Twilight series last week and now I'm really missing it. I can't wait for the new Twilight book from Edward's perspective. I finished it just in the nick of time because now I'm super busy getting ready for Christmas. Baking, decorating and trying to get all of the presents bought, wrapped and mailed off in time. There is a lot to do before Dec 24th. I have been having a great time in the kitchen though. My poor kids have been a little bit neglected, but I don't think they've minded it too bad. Plus, they get to lick all of the beaters.
I knew that I wasn't paying any attention to Maddie when she and her friend Dylan went up to my bathroom and cut each other's hair. Good times. The saddest part is that I didn't even notice until I went upstairs and I couldn't figure out why there was a bunch of hair on my floor. Tomorrow, we go and get Maddie's hair fixed (well as much as possible). As soon as I get a chance to download the pictures of her cutting job, I'll post them.

I don't have girls, but the haircutting must be some kind of rite of passage for little girls. It seems like it always happens. However, my youngest son did let another little boy cut his hair about 5 years ago:)

That is good that you finished the book. I am still trying, but I just finished my preschool program, shopping and all the other stuff. I will have three extra kids today, so I am hoping that I can get going on it today.
That is funny about the hair cutting. I would love to meet that little Maddie. I bet she is a lot of fun to hang out with.

merrill and the rest of the weirdo kids at our junior high used to use my folding scissors to cut our hair in the bathroom at school. Just to get a little bit edgier than our parents would allow.
so...it is probably his fault--this stealth hair cutting thing.
