Yesterday I hosted a brunch/chocolate class for our girl's group called Chics in Aprons. It was so much fun to get in the kitchen and make homemade quiche for the girls and then teach them how to make chocolate truffles and chocolate souffles. It was a little tempting for me to want to dive face first into the souffles and the quiche, but since I've decided to finally get off this baby weight from Jackson (Yes, I know it's been 13 months), I only had one small slice of quiche and one tiny bite of souffle & I didn't touch the truffles. I must say that I was very proud of myself. I even stayed within my points range for the day! Yeah for me. You can check out all of the fabulous pictures that Amy took on our group's blog by clicking here. Thanks for coming girls. I had a great time and I would love to have another cooking class here anytime! And April, I was serious about letting you borrow my scale and ramekins so you can make souffles at home too (I'll even come over and help if you want)!

Oh it was a fabulous day. Thank you so much! And I do want to make the souffles...but am a little scared to try without all the girls helping and doing a little bit of each...you melted chocolate while Lynnette separated eggs and Jaime brushed butter in the ramekins...to do it all by my little self is a little scary. So I will have you over!
Lynnette is chomping at the bit though for the recipe...she wants to make them...like yesterday. She can't stop thinking about them...it is funny. It is all she is talking about!
