Last week, Jackson and I went to St. Louis to visit Grandma and Grandpa Temple and the rest of the Farmer family. We got there Saturday afternoon and immediately started cooking for my cousin, Becca's baby shower, luckily mom had done most of the work. It's Becca's first and we are so thrilled for her. I took a picture with her and my other cousin Emily who is having her third baby in just a couple of weeks. Sad that the two pregnant girls look better than me. I blame it on being up since 4am that day. We had a great trip. Jackson got his first taste of Ted Drews frozen custard and absolutely LOVED it, but who doesn't!?! (I'm still waiting for the pictures that my mom took. She took the Ted Drews pictures.)
Jackson and I with Great Grandpa Farmer. He had just had a heart catherization that morning and he looks fabulous. His heart looks clean and the Dr. said he could love for another 5-7 years easily. He was so excited to hear that he was going to make it to 90!

After making a stop in Denver and Orange County, Jackson finally fell asleep the last hour of the flight. Yippee for mom. We really did have a great trip. We were even blessed with a presence of Uncle JJ for a day. We can't wait for Grandma and Grandpa to come out next month for William's baptism. And, we even get cousin Matthew with them!

It was just an awesome trip and it reminded me that I wish we all lived closer. Jackson is just a precious baby and I think he is getting to know us better and even liked us. He certainly remembers his gramps and the times they spent together for those 3 a.m. feedings.He is his gramps and Matthew clone for sure.
Lisa, you didn't tell everyone that you got Sheri and I going on your great WW program. We all felt skinnier after you got us going. We have week 1 under our belts and we are on the way. By this summer the girls are going to look and feel great. A HUGE thank you to you. I just love my kidos and I'm so proud of you 3!!!
J.J. was fun to see and it was just great to have you all to my self. Selfish I know but it brought back great memories when you were all at home. I do love our family!!!

So happy to see pictures of my big brother and fabulous sister in law, Gene! I was wringing my hands here in California waiting to get your call Lisa. The call that told me all is well. Little Jackson is soooooo cute. lI can hardly wait until we are in Napa and can give him a big hug.
