Today my dear sweet friend Sara let me join her and her husband Jamie welcome their new baby girl into the world. I don't know who was more excited to see her be born, Sara & Jamie or me! I got to be there for the whole birth and it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I've always wanted to see a birth and Sara made that happen for me today. What an awesome friend. Sara was a trouper. She got induced at 9am this morning, epidural at about 11:30am, went from 4cm to 6cm in about an hour and then 6cm to 10cm in about 10 mins. She pushed for 5mins and a perfect little baby girl was born at 3:35pm. She weighed 7lbs 1oz and she is 21 inches long. I'd like to tell you her name, but they still haven't decided on one yet. I just couldn't get enough of her!

She is BEAUTIFUL and thanks Jamie and Sara for letting my girl share with you. Lisa's & Sheri's births were not the easiest and I know how Sheri, grandma & I enjoyed watching Gracie and Katherine coming into the world....birth is such a miracle and I know we all felt close to our Heavenly Father. So, Lisa we all understand how overjoyed you felt being there.

I know 2 little boys who are going to love this sweet baby. Sara and Jamie you are a darling couple and so compassionate. I am thankful to call you friends. Give your baby a kiss for me on the back of her sweet neck and give her a tender snuggle!

Best wishes to you!

thank you for the beautiful post! i was happy to let you be a part. it's a pretty small group that would be allowed in such a setting, but after 10 years of such a dear friendship...you are definitely in the circle! thanks again for being such a great support to both jamie and i throughout the entire process. love you!

Your Southern California friends are so happy for you. Maddie can give your little one tips on how to live with brothers. So glad to able to see pictures so soon after the birth. And you looked so relaxed before the birth.
It must of been because Lisa was there.
