A Lot of Updating

So, I finally downloaded all of my pictures from the last month or so and decided it was time to start catching up on my blogging. I guess the first thing I should put on is William's 10th birthday. How sad that he turned 10 over a month ago and I still haven't put anything on about it. William's birthday was a lot of fun and very low key.
It started off the night before with pizza with 2 of his friends, the Turner's and Fullers. William had a baseball game on his birthday, so we decided to go out to eat the night before to celebrate. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures. His actual birthday started off at 6:30am with me making him is favorite breakfast, biscuits and gravy. (The child doesn't eat breakfast food, but he loves him some biscuits and gravy.) Next, was rootbeer floats for his class at school, his baseball game and cake at home afterward with the bishop and his wife. It was a nice casual birthday.
I can't believe I have a 10 year old. Nine more short years, and he'll be leaving on his mission. I can't handle it. We really do love William and how mature he's becoming. I love to watch him when we have grown ups over and how he crosses his legs and joins in the comversation like he was 30 years old. We're so happy you're in our family William and love you very much!

Make a wish and blow

Maddie and her friends, Tanner and Dylan helped us make rootbeer floats for William's class.

William's kind of sad birthday cake

I kind of messed up on the cake.  Sorry it wasn't one of my better, William.  I'll do better next year.
