I can't believe William turned 11 today. It seems like just yesterday that I went to the hospital because I thought my water broke, just to find out that I wet my pants a little bit. Anywhoo. This year's birthday celebration wasn't too exciting because William has been sick the last couple of days and Xander is still sick. He did get his annual biscuits and gravy for breakfast and rootbeer floats at school. He didn't have any presents to open from us because his present this year was a trip to the Masters with his dad. And because of all of sickness, we had to reschedule his official birthday dinner at home, but we did go out for some delicious Panda Express and slushies from Sonic. (Maddie was opposed to eating dinner at Sonic, because they never give you all of your food.~A little inside joke for my family members to reminise about Utah last summer). After dinner in the car, I told everyone that they had to say one nice thing about William before they could go inside. Here are the responses:
Merrill: You're a sweet boy
Maddie: I can't think of anything (I tell her that she can't get out of the car until she says something) Fine, you're a good baseball player
Jack: You play with me
Xander: Blank stare (Mom says for Xander: You're always so kind to me and love to play peek-a-boo with me)
Mom: I love that everyone tells me what a good boy you are. You're a kind friend. You're a great student and writer. I love that you still want to snuggle with you're mom.
We love you William! (Yes, Maddie does too)

Happy Birthday William, Gosh it has been a long time since I got to play with you durning Sunday School and Relief Society. You have grown into a very handsome young man, and from the sound of things a very nice man. Miss you and your family lots.
Happy Birthday to William. I remember when he was born and it seems like yesterday and yet it seems like forever. Love and miss you guys.
I remember the day you were born also...I was on an airplane & when I landed aunt Sheri told me you were born & to get a cab & get to the hospital. You were the sweetest baby & I know aunt Sheri enjoyed taking care of you & mom when you were sooo little. Bailey is so sad that you won't be coming this summer but let's hope you can come for Thanksgiving & this winter to ice fish. Tell Maddie we all cracked up abt Sonic & gramps doesn't like it anymore either. You did get a present from us so hopefully you liked that.
We love you & look forward to next year when you get the Priesthood. I just can't believe you & Bailey will pass the Sacrament together in 2013!
