I've learned a few things in the last couple of weeks.
1. Get your airconditioner serviced every year. Otherwise you could have water pouring out of your ceiling. Yes, lesson learned the hard way.
2. Clean out the back of your dryer. Actually, take the back of your dryer off and clean the lint out (not just in the vent). My friend April's dryer caught on fire last week. If she hadn't thought to turn off the dryer before getting her and her kids out of the house, the whole house could have gone up in flames. This was according to the firemen who came to the fire. PS~Nobody got hurt. Thank goodness.
3. If your 4 year old breaks your flat screen tv and you try to replace it without your husband finding out, so he won't kill your 4 year old. Do it as fast as you can, before he turns it on and figures it out the night before you were going to replace it with the new one. I was so close!
4. If your child sticks a macaroni noodle up his nose, plug the side that doesn't have the noodle in it and blow in his mouth. The noodle will shoot out. And yes, I had to try it with Xander last night! Good times.

You have the best advice! I will do my dryer today.
I will not let DeV eat any noodles! Just in case he wants to put one up his nose.
And as for the flat screen TV. I don't think I will need that advice. There is no one here to receive such punishment.
Have you started to turn grey yet from all the stress!
Love, Aunt Colleen
