The Many Different Looks of Halloween 2008

So this October, we went through many different costume changes to get just the right costumes for Halloween. Jackson started out as a hotdog, but it was way to contrictive for our fast little crawler.
Next came Spiderman. This one made it to one Halloween party.
Maddie started out as Hannah Montana Rocker Chic and William whipped out his Black Spiderman costume from last year for the first party of the year.
Jackson liked his costume so much that he had to add a wig at the party.
William and Jackson settled on being Jack Sparrow and Boot Strap Bill for all of the rest of the Halloween festivities for the season.
Madeline was a Madeline doll, but she had two different costumes. The cheapo one that she wore to all of the parties....
And a nice one for the big day.
As you can see, she was thrilled!
Oh, she's starting to get a little bit happier because she knows that trick or treating is just moments away!
One family shot and we were off!
William couldn't resist trying on yet another mask Halloween night
Neither could Maddie. I think it's a good look for her, don't you!?!
After Jackson ate an ENTIRE tootsie pop (yes, dad was in charge) he decided that he had had enough of Halloween!
Halloween Break Down
6 Halloween Parties (One of which we had here. The post will be coming soon.)
11 Costume Changes
Trick or Treating for 3 hours
3 HUGE bags of candy that mom is going to throw most of it away (don't tell the kids)
A full month of fun
And now...Exhaustion!

Lisa-Lou!

You are too much and it sounds and looks like you all went trick and treating. You must have all had a ball!

We went to Fortner's and played games and when we got home we had a note on our door saying that if we weren't home next year we would be egged. Dad said they must have been democrats because they wanted us to spread the wealth!

I love Jacker's last pic. He was all tuckered out!

Hugs,
mom/gram p.s. I needed to leave a big bowl of candy on the front porch...next year

Oh you guys are funny! I'm impressed that you had that many options for costume changes ;-) And the double Madeline costume was classic. Your kids all look cute in each and every costume!

Sounds like you guys had quite the Halloween season...6 parties...!!

BTW--I got your comment and of course you can link to the post if you want--thanks for your comment!

I can't decide which is cuter, Madeline or the sleeping pirate. Don't you feel tired from the beginning of October until after Valentine's day! It is crazy, but good!
