How Much Can We Do in One Week?

Since school got out a week ago, we have been going non-stop with fun activities. The kids have been having a great time, William actually said he has been having an awesome week. (Not something he admits often. He is WAY too cool for that now that he's 8). We started out summer by going to a swim party right after school got out at William's friend's house. Thursday William got to go to his friend Jakob's house for a little party and Maddie and William had a fun time with Ashley babysitting them.

Friday, we spent the day in San Bruno with Sara, Jacob and Parker. Jacob had a little kindergarten promotion ceremony that we went down for and then we just hung out the whole day with them. It was so much fun just chilling with Sara and the boys. Merrill even got to go with us. On Saturday, Merrill and William hit golf balls and then we went to go see Up with the Turners. It was such an awesome movie. Jackers was sat through the whole thing and didn't make a peep. He just enjoyed all of his treats. Sunday, was church of course and then we our friends Kathy, Collin and baby Ira over for dinner. That was lots of fun to hang out with them.

On Monday, William started summer camp at school in the mornings. He is having so much fun building airplanes and learning about flying. After camp, the whole family went to Six Flags with our friends Tammy and Cutler. We had soo much fun riding all of the crazy rides. Jackson had the best time going on the train and spinning in the barrels. Maddie was so excited because she got to go on bigger rides this year. She even got to go on a pretty big roller coaster and the expression on her face was priceless! I just love how excited she gets. Monday night, we road our bikes to Kathy & Collin's for dinner. Needless to say, Tuesday morning I was dragging William out of bed for camp.

Yesterday, we took a picnic up to school, went to the library and got lots of books to read. After we played at the playground, we went to PB&J's (a jumpy house place) and played, played and played! Today, we had to say goodbye to Merrill because he stared his new job, but we recovered by going swimming all afternoon. On the way home, William said this has been the best week ever. He said that he's having so much fun that he hasn't had time to get super excited about leaving for New Hampshire on Friday. Funny, because he's been bugging me to pack his suitcase since Saturday and that's all he can talk about everyday. I love it! I can't wait to see what tomorrow is going to bring.
