Maddie had to go to the dentist yesterday to get some cavities filled. She was hysterical on the laughing gas. She kept holding her doll over head saying, "Dr. Rothman, Rothman, Rothman, Rothman, Rothman." I thought Dr. Rothman was going to fall off his chair laughing. We were both dying listening to her. She was higher than a kite. She just kept rambling about I don't even know what. At one point, she was talking about Dylan's mom having a nursery, but that she doesn't have a gym or a church. The assistant was a little confused, but I was cracking up that she was associating a gardening nursery to the nursery at church.

When it was time to get her shot, she did awesome and she did great through the whole procedure. Dr. Rothman and his assistant were so great with her. They made her feel so comfortable (well the gas helped with that too) and told her everything that was going on. She wasn't scared at all and just laid there the whole time. I was so proud of her. I hope she does as well next week when we go back to do the other side. Yes, I know, my daughter has a lot of cavities. But, she has sworn off sugar, juice and soda for the most part. Oh, and she lets me brush her teeth morning and night without complaint. I just love this girl.

My favorite part of the whole procedure was at the end when they took off the gas and sat her up, and her head fell on the chair. She just laid there face down on the chair. It was hysterical. Bless her heart.

Maddie right after her procedure. This is right before he face planted it.
