We took our annual trip to the temple to see the Christmas lights with the King's last week. It was just as much fun as it always is. The lights were gorgeous and we even got to see the live nativity this year. Sara & Jamie realized that we've been going together every year for 8 years!
Every year we try to figure out where to go and eat afterwards that isn't going to have a huge wait. This year I think we out did ourselves. We went to Fenton's and had to wait 1 1/2 hours! They said that the wait would only be about 15-20 mins when we started waiting and then we just waited and waited and waited. There were 50,000 people there. The kids did a great job of waiting, all things considered. They had a few melt downs, but we didn't care because we were hoping that would help us to get a table faster. Our goal for next year is to find a better restaurant. We say it every year, but we mean it this time!

I just thought how much Maddie looked like Merrill. Aunt Sheri has always said that Maddie was her daddies look alike. I'm starting to agree. Maybe she has a little of you, Lisa. She is one cutie.
The lights were beautiful and be sure and tell Jamie and Sara Hi for us. They are soo sweet and such great friends and I think it is wonderful that you have this great tradition.
