My Winter Poem

William had to write a poem for school. When I read it, I was totally impressed. Sad that my 3rd grade son can write better poetry than me. Here's his poem...

My Winter Poem
In winter I feel light snow and heavy rain.
In Winter I see Christmas lights, sledders, skiers and my family!
In winter I smell gingerbread and cookies baking.
In winter I hear New Year's Eve fireworks, rain, wind, and snow. I hear people singing and families laughing.
In winter I taste soup, cookies and warm hot cocoa.
In winter I feel raindrops, snow, warm, cold and loved!

What a great poem! It makes me want to skip over summer and fall and head straight into the holidays.

William I give that poem an A plus. I bet your teacher loved it. How about a poem about baseball. Wish I could have been there to see that last game. You looked great in the video. Love, Aunt colleen and Uncle DeVaughn
