So, things were going well with Jackson the last couple of weeks. He hasn't been in getting into any trouble destroying anything. He's even almost completely potty trained! Then I made the mistake of putting Xander to sleep last night and letting Jackson watch a show by himself in the playroom. Seriously, he was in there by himself for 15 minutes and he came out with a black line coming out of his mouth. My first thought was, "Oh know he just drew all over the brand new huge map that we have hanging in the playroom." I ran in and looked at the map and was so relieve to see that it was fine, but then I looked down and this is what I found (only darker). This picture was taken after scrubbing the floor with wet wipes and hairspray. It faded a little bit, but Merrill is going to kill Jackson. I still haven't told him. I want to fix it first and this is where I need the help. Any suggestions on how to get Sharpie out of hardwood floors? My three year old's life depends on it!
PS~The reason I can post this is because Merrill never looks at my blog.

have you tried mr. clean magic eraser yet. My sister's littlest used sharpie on everything and i think magic eraser was her best friend. not sure what it will do to the floor, but it can't be worse than what's already there. good luck...to both you and Jackson.
Oh My Gosh. I would try the Mr. Clean eraser too...good luck! We will keep Jackson in our prayers :)

You need to keep sharpies,glue, eggs,and crayons and basically anything that Jackson can destory with under lock and key!!!
Where did he come from??? I really don't think we have ever had a grandbaby like him but maybe he will be a great artist...we can only hope.
