So, a friend of mine cooks out of The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook every Wednesday and then blogs about it. I thought it was such a great idea that I thought I would steal the idea a little bit. I know I won't be as diligent as her, but I thought I would give it a try. William is very excited about it, so maybe it will happen with some regularity. We did our first recipes last week during spring break when it was 90 degrees out. William chose creamy onion soup and Irish soda bread. What a great choice on a blazing hot day. But, I told him he could pick whatever he wanted and so I did it. He actually really liked both of them. I did too. Even though the soup took a long time to make, it was quite delicious. I highly recommend the cookbook. It's a lot of fun to learn more about Harry Potter and also the food found in the book.
