School Silent Auction

We had our annual school silent auction a few weeks ago.  It was a ton of work, but everything turned out beautifully and the food was delicious.  The evening's theme was Joie de Vivre.  We had kites hanging from the ceiling and big beautiful umbrellas throughout.  The menu was croque monsieur sandwiches, beef tenderloin sliders on homemade rolls, french fries in cones with a basil, garlic aoli, tomato tartlets, stuffed mushrooms, cheese sticks, gorgeous cheese and meat platters, radishes with herbed butter and spiced cashews.  For dessert we had chocolate dipped strawberries, chocolate truffles, homemade palmiers, macaroons and assorted cookies.  Such a fun event.

Looks just wondeful and I wish you culd come and cater for Matthew's farewell. I do think we are making the tenderloin sliders sans homemade rolls. I think Heath's will be just fine.
Tell all your friends HI from dad & I.
