The other day, I was going through all of the work that William brought home from school this summer, and I came across a bunch of stories that he wrote.  Most of them were about mysteries, his friends fighting each other and sports, but then I came across this gem.  I love that William has such a sweet spot for his cousin.  It almost made me cry.

My Cousin

There are many famous women in the world, but I want to write about my cousin Grace.  She is funny, smart, and a good friend.

Grace is always very funny when I'm around her.  She and I always make up weird jokes together.  I usually only get to see her once a year!  But when I do, we try to have the most fun time ever.

When I need help, she rushes over.  She helps me with my homework, setting the table, and many more things.  Once I was studying, she held the cards while I was trying to spell the words!

Grace is always a good friend.  when I'm sad, she tryies to cheer me up with a funny joke.  Once, she and I got lost in a hotel.  I started to panic, but she calmed me down and we found our parents!

Like I said, there are endless amounts of famous women, but Grace is famous to me.
