Happy Birthday to Me

So, since my husband doesn't believe in blogging, I thought I would do my own birthday blog. It's my birthday tomorrow, but since we are going to William's baseball game tomorrow night, the Turners and Fullers brought me my birthday dinner over tonight. It was very yummy! We had bbq chicken, grouper, corn on the cob, asparagus, broccoli and tomato salad. It was quite the feast. For dessert we had strawberry shortcake. Delicious!

Jackers enjoying some whipped cream! My dad did a great post for my birthday on our family blog, so I stole a couple of pictures of me when I was a kid to put on here.

My dad's favorite picture of me as a kid

This haircut is the reason why I didn't have short hair until after I was married. Hello, I totally look like a boy. Bless my mom's heart, she tried to make me look stylish.

I think I look like Jackson in this picture, minus the curls.

On another note, we had a Phase 10 tournament Friday night. Merrill was winning pretty much the whole game and then Rob came back and won it. Poor Merrill! Actually, it was quite comical.

Lisa-Lou,

The haircut was the Dorothy Hamel style and you looked adorable. It was the rage way back then!!
Hope your day was great and a huge thanks to the Turners and Fullers for taking care of our girl.
Hugs,
Mom

Sounds like a whole lot of fun. I'm glad you got a break and someone made dinner for you, but what in the world is "grouper"? Tell Merrill we're sorry that his winning streak is over: first Pounce and then Phase 10, poor guy. But anyway, happy birthday! I know your going to love your 20s.
